The following went out on IWG letterhead listing 10 congregations and religious
organizations and 41 clergy from 13 faiths and denominations. If you are in
the general Philadelphia area and represent a congregation or religious
organization or are clergy, let us know if you want to be added - all faiths
are welcome. We will also be happy to help start similar organizations in
other areas.

Dear Editor:

Thank you for Steve Kloehn's extensive report on the
difficulties currently being faced by the Presbyterian
Church (USA). It has become increasingly obvious that
Amendment B supporters who are now shocked at the
negative reaction that the vote has received have
failed to understand the strength of theological
conviction and sense of moral justice which drives
those who are supportive of the lives and rights of
sexual minorities both inside and outside of the
church.

Sincerely,
Barbara Purdom Christopher Purdom
