The following went out on IWG letterhead listing 12 congregations and religious
organizations and 50 clergy from 15 faiths and denominations. If you are in
the general Philadelphia area and represent a congregation or religious
organization or are clergy, let us know if you want to be added - all faiths
are welcome. We will also be happy to help start similar organizations in
other areas.

In his November 17 letter Michael Roderick wonders what
Michael Keach could possibly mean when he says, "Gays
are blessed by God. Just ask the Catholic Church." He
was probably referring to the pastoral letter "Always
Our Children" produced by the U.S. Catholic Bishops.
However, it is not necessary use just the Catholic
Church as an example. Many religious organizations are
even more vocal and positive in their support than the
Bishops. Sexual orientation is one of the many issues
on which there is a wide variety of opinion among
people of faith.
