The following went out on IWG letterhead listing 3 congregations, 6 religious
organizations and 38 clergy from 13 faiths and denominations. If you are in
the general Philadelphia area and represent a congregation or religious
organization or are clergy, let us know if you want to be added - all faiths
are welcome. We will also be happy to help start similar organizations in
other areas.

Dear Mr. Cirillo:

We felt that you should know that the anti-gay messages
being sent to American Airlines by Concerned Women for
America and other right-wing religious organizations
reflect the sentiment of the members of those groups
and not of the larger community of faith. We are
always pleased when any organization makes an effort to
treat sexual minorities with the same basic respect
that others take for granted.

Concerned Women for America specializes in
demoralization campaigns against corporations and non-
profit organizations which are working for equality in
a diverse society. American Airlines is in excellent
company and should feel honored for having attracted
their wrath.

Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,
Barbara Purdom Christopher Purdom
