Ms. Brownsworth brought light, life, and spirituality to the Daily News. She put a smiling face on lesbianism that countered the dehumanizing, angry descriptions of sexual minorities written by Cal Thomas, George Will, and Mike Royko. Why must diversity be the first victim of poverty? Put some joy into the hearts of your readers, and bring Ms. Brownsworth back. Sincerely, Barbara Purdom Christopher Purdom Interfaith Working Group Coordinators
