    Queer Nation Scientist Discovers Hypothalmus Enlargements

San Francisco, CA.  Queer Nation Scientist announced today the discovery
of strange enlargements of the hypothalmus that are baffling medical
science.  These enlargements are unusual in that they only appear in the
brains of heterosexual men.

In a study it was discovered that eight of eight heterosexual men
examined had parts of the hypothalmus enlarged up to ten times the
expected size.  These enlargements do not appear in normal homosexual
brains.

Heterosexuality is a condition in which members of the opposite sex
become emotionally involved and actually engage in sexual acts! 
Societies formed by heterosexuals tend to be oppressive in their view
towards the normal expression of love by those of the same gender. 
Currently these heterosexuals control the majority of social forces in
the United States.

The Queer Nation Scientist who made this startling discovery are
reassuring the public that these enlargements of the hypothalmus and the
resulting social problems are not a contagious condition.  An
experimental treatment has been developed to attempt to reduce these
swellings and to allow the patient to lead a normal, happy homosexual
life.  This treatment consists of environmental factors which, if
properly controlled, can effect a cure.  These treatments include:

1. Educating oneself about sexism, racism, and homophobia.
2. Listening to the views of others and trying to understand any differences.
3. Taking direct action against oppression and bigotry.
