Date: Wed, 2 Mar 1994 16:07 EDT From: "Samuel S. Woodley" Subject: Contact list: LBG Scientists and Technical Professionals LESBIANS, GAYS, AND BISEXUALS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNICAL PROFESSIONS March 02, 1994: This is the second listing of a some of the many LBG persons involved in the sciences and technical profesions. In an effort to conserve space, only minimal information is included in each person's biography. The format is as follows: NAME E-MAIL ADDRESS DEGREE 1 MAJOR DEGREE 2 MAJOR ETC. (FOR ALL DEGREES) SPECIALITY AND PROFESSIONAL INTERESTS An asterix next to the degree indicates that the person is currently working on this degree. This list represents a diverse array of scientific and technical interests and expertise. The list is also composed of individuals at all stages of their scientific/technical careers. Many of the people listed here are established scientist who have made significant contributions in their fields. Others are students or post-docs, just getting started in their careers. It is hoped that the list will be informative to those wishing to establish contacts with other LBG scientists/technical professionals. INDIVIDUALS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT PEOPLE INCLUDED ON THIS LIST THROUGH E-MAIL, AND TO START A DIALOG WITH OTHERS IN THEIR PROFESSIONAL FIELDS. Those wishing to make contacts with other LBGs in sciences should also consider joining the mailing list of the National Organization of Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals (NOGLSTP). To join send E-mail to NOGLSTP-REQUEST@elroy.jpl.nasa.gov. THIS LIST IS FAR FROM COMPLETE. Currently, there are eighty-three bios on this list. This is just a tiny fraction of the number of LBGs out there working and contributing to sciences and technology. To have your bio included in the list, send E-mail to Sam Woodley at WOODLEY@chem.chem.rochester.edu. Please send corrections for the list to the same address. This list is a testimony to the many talented people in our community making contributions to science and technology. Let's use this list to make that reality even stronger and more visible! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lisa aglione aglionln@ctrvax.Vanderbilt.edu BS Biology BS Chemistry i am presently studying glucose metabolism and pregnancy in the dog. i am going to be applying to vet school, but i still haven't decided where i want to live.
