Golden Threads is a world wide network of lesbian friends and lovers. GT
publishes a quarterly journal of personals plus items that address the
issues of
midlife and old lesbian women, book
reviews and resource lists.

While GT has no age requirements, another organization does. It is OLOC
(Old
Lesbians Organizing for Change.) To belong to the latter an individual
or one
member of a couple must be 60 or over. OLOC provides support and
networking
and is activist, specifically in regard to ageism. It will have it's
first
international conference in Minneapolis in the summer of 1996.
