The Postmaster General will discontinue issuing this stamp on December 1, 1994. If you want to purchase a supply of the soon to be extinct stamps; now is the time to do so. Please let GLTB Organizations know that there will be a limited supply soon, and as each Post Office runs out of the stamps, they will be unable to obtain more. If you or GLBT Organizations you volunteer for, wish to see the AIDS Awareness Stamp continued to be sold, you will have to move fast. Letters in support of a continued issue of the AIDS Awareness Stamp should be sent to: Postmaster General Marvin Runyon United States Postal Service 475 L'Enfant Plaza West SW Washington DC 20260-9998 I for one would like to see this stamp continue to be sold. I use it on all my mail and feel that it's a good way to remind people to care about AIDS. Richard E. Evans Northland District Gay/Lesbian Postal Employees Network Richard E.
