In response to recent inquiries about graduate schools in sociology, may I
suggest joining the Sociologists' Lesbian and Gay Caucus?  The caucus has met
now for almost 20 years with the annual meetings of the American Sociological
Association and the Society for the Study of Social Problems.  There are
people there from all over the U.S. and Canada who can fill you in on the
