How will we achieve the rights to freely move within the European Union with our non- European partners? Will the intergovernmental conference make things better or worse? What rights can we assert under current EU law? Do we have the protection of the European Convention on Human Rights? What will be the effect of gay marriage in the Netherlands? The seminar will take the form of a number of presentations on the current law followed by general discussions with a view to forming an agenda for future work. Registration and coffee will be at 10:30am and the seminar will start at 11am on Friday 5 July and is expected to finish at 6pm. The cost is 35 per person or 45 for non members/non- affiliates (concessionary rate for SIG members or employees of voluntary organisations and law centres: 25) which includes lunch.
