Actress Stockard Channing will appear at Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays' (PFLAG) national conference, "PFLAG: Family Voices for Equality," to be held in Washington, D.C., April 28-30, 2000. Channing is an award-winning actress of stage, screen, and television and has a starring role in the recently released film, Isn't She Great? In addition, Channing will star in the Lifetime Television original movie, Jane's Coming Out Party, about a mother who learns her daughter is a lesbian, scheduled to air in August. "We are incredibly excited to welcome Stockard Channing to our conference," said PFLAG National Executive Director Kirsten Kingdon. "She is a rare talent who has demonstrated an uncanny ability to connect with her audience, in any given role. I know that she will do the same with our more than one-thousand conference attendees," Kingdon added.
