Internships Available

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) is seeking
part-time and full-time interns for the spring and summer of 1995 and beyond.

PFLAG works to provide support for families and friends of gay, lesbian and
bisexual people, educate the public to end homophobia and advocate for equal
rights for gay lesbian and bisexual people.  The national office of PFLAG
works with our grassroots network of chapters and representatives to attain
these goals.

We are seeking people to work in several areas including [but not limited to]
media and public relations, advocacy, volunteer management, organizational
development/grassroots development, computer analysis and programming, and
religious issues.  In all cases we are looking for interns who:

* have basic computer skills (Macintosh preferably)
 *are comfortable on the telephone
 *have good writing and verbal skills
 *work well as a team and individually
 *are willing to take initiative, yet accept guidance
 *follow through on work
 *are able to set realistic goals and objectives and accomplish them
