New customer service message offers explanation. Dial 1-800-992-1997 Listen to the message for the sequence of buttons. There are different recordings. In one version you think you have to wait for a person but you don't, you get a second menu and then select again and you get to the message which tells you that Chrysler sponsored Ellen on May 7 and future decisions about sponsorship have not been made and they ask you to express your opinion. Please use the telephone poll because this is what is being tallied, not the email. Implicitly, a vote for Ellen sponsorship is also a vote for gay and lesbian Chrysler employees, for official recognition of the People of Diversity -- the Chrysler g/l employee network, for posting and enforcement of the new standards of conduct covering sexual orientation, and for mandatory diversity training vis-a-vis harrassment of gay and lesbian employees. We don't need Chrysler to acknowledge that pressure from the chrysler-campaign has anything to do with changes happening within the company, we just need you to keep the pressure up.
