        A complete run-down of the various initiatives for each of the states,
and their status as elections approach can be found in the current issue of the
Washington Blade, Jan. 28, 1994 edition.  In each of the states except Idaho
and Washington, anti-gay opponents seek CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS barring
discrimination protections for gays and lesbians.  The implications of this are
frightening and affect ALL of our lives, whether we think so, or not.
