Type of initiatives:  Two statutes

What the initiatives would do if passed: Both would repeal and block laws and
policies that prohibit discrimination against lesbians, gays, bisexuals,
transsexuals and transvestites;  prohibit teachers from presenting
homosexuality as acceptable; and overturn anti-discrimination laws in
Olympia, Pullman, Seattle, Vancouver, King County, and Clallam County.  The
second initiative would also prohibit same-sex marriage and domestic
partnerships; restrict public library access to books on homosexuality to
adults only; ban lesbians and gays from being parents; and allow employers to
consider sexual orientation as a factor in personnel decisions.
