Saturday, December 12th, Ft. Lauderdale. The Florida Gold Coast members and 
friends of Log Cabin offer their prayers and tidings in remembrance of 
the peoples' grass-roots leader, statesman, governor, husband and father, 
Lawton Chiles.

In today's silent and sudden passing he reflected the solitude of 
his fidelity to those he served during a career and life that spanned 
more than forty years.

May his detailed portrait, recently aligned with other governors of this 
fine state, remind us of his deep commitment to his constituency; a
righteous gift of honorable duty to office, nation, state and all he 
served.
