He likewise notes that anthropologically speaking, marriage is based on "natural law" only because of "reproduction." Furthermore "6,000 years of human history has been rewritten arbitrarily and callously" and that has resulted in "broken marriages, fatherless children, single mothers, abortion mills and incurable sexual diseases." He refers to Calvin's interpretation of natural law as distinguishing the "just from the unjust," and continues on with natural law in addressing the Constitution of the United States. He, like the Baptist who recently apologized to American Blacks for using the bible to justify slavery, avoid that which refutes their logic for that which allegedly justifies it. Those who understand the subjugation of the non-heterosexual community to majority will know that it is logically false to assume several minutes of sexual pleasure equates to some sort of happiness reality relevant to basic human rights. Indeed the "Universalist" fathers of the U.S. Constitution stated that "all" are created equal and that there shall be "freedom of religion" affording "freedom from religious persecution." "6000 years of human history have been rewritten arbitrarily and callously" not by those wishing equality of rights for non- heterosexuals but by self-serving Inquisitors who wish to erase historical veracity through misrepresentation, denial, and distortion. Hosler suggests that sex is a natural heterosexual instinct that equates to marriage and procreation and that homosexuals suppress the natural law intentionally. In ancient times men had "uninhibited" sex at will and women were frequently the instrument of male lust, not their love. Women were property and they were bartered and sold. As soon as their usefulness dissipated, their value and desirability fell victim to the natural desire for beauty and youth. Women were readily cast aside and stoned to death for a sexual indiscretion under the guise that it was God's will. It was not "Gays in the Military" that left thousands of unwed mothers and fatherless children behind when our "Johnnies came marching home" to community, wife, family, church, etc. Sexual diseases were not confined to non-heterosexuals or blacks as some early white hooded Christians would have had you believe. How many advocates of natural law and religious doctrine called for the punishment of those who knowingly conducted the Tuskegee, Alabama syphilis tests on unsuspecting and innocent victims? Is that also part of natural law of the survival of the fittest Mr. Hosler? The state has an obligation to protect and treat its citizenry to "life, liberty, justice, and pursuit of happiness" regardless of minority status. Therefore, jurisdictions must recognize and honor domestic partnership contracts. Likewise, religious institutions may or may not responsibly administer their sacrament of marriage in accordance with respective institutional doctrine. Therein lies the essence of "Freedom of Religion" and "freedom from religious persecution" encapsulated in principle of separation of church and state. M. Warren Ft. Lauderdale
