	(Austin, June 5, 1996) --  A hearing will be held in Travis County District
Court to decide the application of Log Cabin Republicans of Texas for a
temporary restraining order against the Republican Part of Texas, ordering
the GOP to grant an exhibit booth to Log Cabin at the state convention.

The hearing is set for Friday, June 7, 1996 at 9 a.m. Log Cabin will be
holding a press conference immediately following the hearing.  If you have
