The Lambda Letters Project is a California based organization dedicated to
helping lesbians, gays, bisexuals, women, HIV positive people, people of
color and other supportive persons to write to legislators and other
public officials about women's issues, lesbian, gay, bisexual issues,
people of color issues, and AIDS

Each month Project staff create one sample letter on legislation or
situations relating to each of our subjects; women's issues, lesbian,
gay, bisexual issues, people of color issues and AIDS/HIV.  These are
sent to people on our mailing list, uploaded to the Lambda Letters
conference on peacenet and sent to those who subscribe to the LLP mailing list.
These sample letters can be used by people to create their own letters
or can simply be used as is.
