ANNOUNCEMENT The Administrative Group of the International Lesbian and Gay Association (ILGA) announces a vacancy for an INTERIM CO-ORDINATOR for ILGAs central Administrative office located in Brussels (Belgium) Candidates should have the following qualities: - Fluent spoken and written English; active knowledge of Spanish and French are an asset. - Excellent editing skills. - Excellent communication and co-ordination skills. - Very good administrative skills. - Efficiency, sense of responsibility and an ability to work autonomously. - Good knowledge of ILGA and international lesbian and gay organizing is an asset. Responsibilities will include: editing the ILGA bulletin and other published materials; co-ordinating the preparation of the programme for the 1994 World Conference; dealing with press and other inquiries; co-ordinating the financial and membership administration; co-ordinating volunteer work; etc. An initial contract will run for 7 months, from 1 February to 31 August 94, with good prospects of renewal following an overall evaluation by the Secre- tariats' Committee. Candidates should be prepared to re-locate to Brussels for this period and should be willing to travel. The post is for 25 hours per week. A net salary has been set at 30.000 BEF (roughly GBP 500 or FIM 4.500) per month. The overall salary includes health insurance, social security tax pre-payments and an annual holiday bonus equivalent to one month's net salary. A relocation bonus of 10.000 BEF (roughly GBP 167 or FIM 1.500) will be paid to non-Belgian residents.
