Subject: Ohio Pride Events: Cincy, Dayton, Toledo, Columbus THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LESBIAN/GAY PRIDE COORDINATORS, INC. GAY PRIDE EVENT INFORMATION ON OHIO / MAY 30, 1995 *************************************************************************** The following is a repost of information sent to the IAL/GPC. Information is not guaranteed. *************************************************************************** Cincinnati's Pride march and rally is on Saturday, June 17, stepping off from Fountain Square downtown. The June 4 date on your list is "Gay Day" at Kings Island, an amusement park north of town. Call Jill Benavides at 513-221-0033 for info on both events. Cleveland's 5th annual march and festival is also on June 17, stepping off at noon from Trinity (Episcopal) Cathedral and marching to Public Square downtown. Call Brynna Fish at 216-371-9714 for info. Toledo will have their first ever Pride march June 25, marching from One Government Center across the Martin Luther King Bridge to International Park. Call Kyle Alan at 419-697-5433 for info. This is being organized by two very dedicated people with no money, and what they see as lukewarm support from many in Toledo's lesbian and gay community. They are in the throes of burnout--they need all the help they can get. Columbus' 15th annual march and Gayfest, Ohio's largest, is also June 25, stepping off from Goodale Park and marching past the state capitol to Bicentennial Park. Call 614-299-7764.
