FACT SHEET Organizational Description The Gay And Lesbian Association of Retiring Persons TM (GLARP), an international, non-profit {501 (c)(3)] membership organization, has been launched to enhance the aging experience of gays and lesbians. It fills a void in the gay and lesbian community for retirement-related information and services, as well as providing an ideal environment in which to further research, anticipate and provide for its membership's unique needs. Its ultimate plan includes establishment of independent retirement communities and assisted living for gays, lesbians, and those who are gay-lesbian friendly, as well as development of skilled nursing facilities. Benefits and Services Current:  Quarterly newsletter which will provide new, useful benefits and information relevant to the retirement needs of gays and lesbians.
