newspaper Our Paper: "Glamour Magazine continues to include
glamorous lesbians in its pages.  The June issue included a
stunning eight page feature on Heidi Leiter and Missy Peters,
two young Manassas, Virginia women who attended their high
school prom together last year.  The piece, entitled "Not
Just Another Prom Night," was written by Amy Cunningham.

The story chronicled the two women's coming out, their
relationship, the difficulties and triumphs in helping their
families overcome homophobia, and their courageous decision
to attend the prom together.  We learned of the insults and
taunts, as well as the support, the women received from
fellow students.  There was something for women of all ages
and sexual orientations to learn in this story. [my aside,
I would have said, "...for PEOPLE of all ages and sexual
orientations..." since the lessons are human, not gender-
specific].
