"And Justice For All..." Cobb Rally for Human Rights

Human Rights Rally, Glover Park in Marietta Square, Cobb County Georgia.
 
A rally will be held to protest the one year anniversary of the Cobb County
Commission's passage of it's discriminatory anti-gay resolution.  Thousands
are expected to attend.  Featured speakers include: Rev. James Orange -
international civil rights leader - Martin Luther King Center, Rosemary
Dempsey - National Organization for Women - national action vice president,
Ben Jones - congressional candidate, Bill Secreast - Cobb Commission
candidate and Shannon Bryne - Cobb Commission chair's Bill Bryne's daughter.

The rally will be supported by dozens of national and local organizations and
speakers from various religious and human rights groups including the
Anti-Defamation League, Center for Constitutional Rights, Human Rights
Campaign Fund, American Jewish Community, National Organization for Women,
ACLU, and many others.  

Included in the rally will be performances by local musicians and
entertainers including Mark Stowe Group, Chris Coleman, Cool Joe, Ashley and
Mark, Jupiter Symphony, S. Faybell Ma-Hee, Chris Hatcher, and Redefine Faith
Gospel Choir, .  

The rally is sponsored by Marietta Interfaith Alliance, Cobb Citizens
Coalition, Inc., and Network for Social Responsibility - Cobb.
