"Antonia's Line is a wonderful example of the inclusion of gay and lesbian images in entertainment," says Tamra King, GLAAD's Entertainment Media Director, "Danielle's sexuality is never an issue in the film. Her sexuality is never hidden, avoided or ignored, but is treated just like all the other characters'." By working with the entertainment industry, GLAAD has helped the public see more accurate images of gays and lesbians.
