Dear Friends,

I am writing to tell you about an exciting new Internet project.
Recently, GLAAD became the official non-profit Network Partner for a
new website called OUTwork.com, the first International Internet Gay
& Lesbian Business Directory which allows users to build their own
"instant" websites.

Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and following simple
instructions, OUTwork members are able to create business or personal
websites in a matter of minutes with no technical experience.  The
member's site is created instantly and is entered in the OUTwork search engine,
which can be accessed by potential consumers and clients from around
the world.  Members can update their OUTwork websites as often as they
like at no charge.

OUTwork also provides members with their own, individual website
address for marketing materials, links on their homepage for their
e-mail and company website if needed, and links to all major search
engines where they may register their OUTwork website.

Membership in OUTwork is free for the first month and $29.95 per
year thereafter.  Membership includes building and hosting of
website, access to important on-line business resources such as
profiles of successful gay and lesbian business people, and placement
in the OUTwork membership database search engine.

This site was developed by two companies who have been long-time
supporters of GLAAD and have a vast background in the lesbian and gay
community--Bold New World, a website development and Internet
communications firm whose clients include the "Advocate" and the
Tanqueray American AIDSrides' on-line store, and Spare Parts, a
national marketing firm which specializes in gay/lesbian marketing for
Fortune 500 companies.

As the official non-profit Network Partner, GLAAD will receive 10% of
the net proceeds from all membership and advertising revenue.  We
agreed to this partnership not only to raise much needed revenue, but
also because GLAAD understands the incredible power of the Internet to
support lesbian and gay issues.  OUTwork proves this power by
providing a valuable resource to promote gay and lesbian businesses
and professionals around the world at a cost affordable to almost
everyone.
