Gay Male Manuscripts about Religion/Spirituality All 21 publications below welcome gay male materials about religion or spirituality. That does not mean that they focus primarily on religion, only that if you write about that subject, you might find a forum here. Those marked with an asterisk are community newspapers; focus accordingly. Louie Crew/Li Min Hua/Quean Lutibelle/Br. Byham, Editor Voice of Integrity 7100 Boulevard East, #3F Guttenberg, NJ 07093 ======================================================================= Many of these focus on particular audiences. E.g., Voice of Integrity speaks to the national membership of Integrity, the justice ministry of lesgay Episcopalians. Out/Look is a strong multi-cultural voice which strives for gender parity: that would not likely be a place where you would want to send an article focused on your meeting with a local congregation, unless you widened your lens enough to look at your congregation in ways that might interest a widely diverse audience, many not religious, and many from vastly different religions. Most publishers will send you a sample for $3. Know your audience before you perform for them. Submit your manuscripts in a professional manner..... (Sorry, those of you who already know these things.) Many of these welcome lesbian material as well. Since I am a gay male writer making this list for my own use, I did not monitor that fact, nor did I not include any of the many lesbian publications that accept material on spirituality. I hope this list helps connect manuscripts with readers. Louie
