*************** CONTINUED FROM NOTE #1 *****************

- MONTEL WILIAMS: REVEALING SECRETS TO ONE'S PARENTS.
Airs Wed. 11/22/95 in areas that delay or rerun Montel one
week after the regular air date. Check local listings.
May or may not have gay content, but it seems likely. No
promises, though. Airings include:
> Wed. 11/22/95, 10:00 am, on NYC NY WNYW ch. 5

- VH1 DUETS. TV Guide says: "VH1 Duets begins with a
quintet: Paula Cole, Melissa Etheridge, Sophie B.
Hawkins, Jewel & Joan Osborne." Airs:
> Wed. 11/22/95, 8:00 pm, VH1
> Fri. 11/24/95, 10:00 pm, VH1

- LAUREN HUTTON AND... Guest is drag queen RuPaul. Airs
Thurs. 11/23/95 or late night Thurs.-Fri. 11/23-24 in most
areas. Check local listings. Airings include:
> Thurs.-Fri., 11/23-24/95 1:30 am, on Phila. PA WGBS ch.
57
> Thurs.-Fri., 11/23-24/95, 1:35 am, on NYC NY WCBS ch. 2

- JUST ONE OF THE GUYS. Joyce Hyser stars as a high
school student who pretends to be male and enrolls in
another school, to research a newspaper article on sexism.
When she falls in love with a male friend at the other
school, her classmates think that Joyce is a gay male. A
well done 1985 movie. Airs:
> Fri. 11/24/95, 10:45 am, Cinemax (CC)
> Fri. 11/24/95, 7:15 pm, Encore Cable (NOT CC)

The following shows air once this week as far as I know:

- SUNDAY MORNING (CC). Airs Sun. 11/19/95, 9:00 am, CBS.
"What scientists have learned about AIDS since first
detecting the virus in the early 1980s."-TV Guide.
Postponed from last week's original air date.

- MELROSE PLACE (CC). Airs Mon. 11/20/95, 8:00 pm, Fox.
TV Guide says "Matt catches on to Shelly's misdealings".

- HIGH SOCIETY (CC). Airs Mon. 11/20/96, 9:30 pm, CBS.
Several readers have also urged me to mention this show,
so everyone learns of it. Again, my resources do NOT list
any gay content for this episode, but a reader writes
that: "The recurring character of the secretary (male) on
the new CBS show 'High Society' is obviously (though not
declared) gay." Another reader has a different opinion on
the matter. He reports that the show "also features as a
regular character an office assistant Stefano, who is
openly, outrageously gay."

- POSITIVE HEALTH. Airs Tues. 11/21/95, 7:30 pm. on
Phila. PA WYBE ch. 35. Local show by and for people with
AIDS and HIV disease.

- FRIENDS (CC). Airs Tues. 11/21/95, 9:30 pm, NBC. TV
Guide doesn't indicate any gay story line for this rerun,
but "Ross relishes the chance to talk to his unborn child"
and both Ross's ex-wife Carol (Jane Sibbett) and her lover
Susan (Jessica Hecht) are listed as appearing this week.

Hi, folks! This is note #3 (of 4) of the list of tv shows

- NYPD BLUE (CC). Airs Tues. 11/21/95, 10:00 pm, ABC. TV

- PERSONAL BEST (CC). Airs Wed. 11/22/95, 11:00 pm,

1982 movie about two female Olympic athletes who are
lovers. Beware of the incredibly offensive male coach.

Also: Some notes:
1. Scott K. writes:
"Late breaking soap news on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Robin
Scorpio (Stone Cates' lover) tested (or will) test HIV+.
Production plans call for her to leave the show
temporarily while the actress who plays Robin attends
college. She will make periodic appearances when her
schedule permits.
"This is a fairly big deal because Robin has been a
fixture on the show since she was an infant."
General Hospital airs on weekdays at 3:00 pm ET, on ABC.

2. Check out the article about Arsenio Hall in the
11/18/95 TV Guide. On pg. 31 they say "Hall admits that
being vague about his love life has made him the target of
gossip. 'I know, I know,' he says with a sigh. 'The
assumption is that I'm gay. Well, okay. I mean, I
respect all lifestyles. But I ain't living like that.'"

*********************************************************
In the "ALL ISMS ARE RELATED" category, check out these
non-gay, diversity-related tv shows:
