Hi, folks! This is note #4 (of 5) of the list of tv shows

- THE CREW (CC). Airs Thurs. 9/7/95, 8:30 pm, Fox. I
caught part of the first episode of this new comedy about
airline flight attendants this week, and one of the
characters, Paul Steadman (David Burke), is gay and out.
It looks like there will be numerous moments built around
that fact in the show. TV Guide doesn't indicate any gay
storyline for this week's episode, but I suspect there
will be gay-oriented aspects on a regular basis.

- CBS REPORTS: FATH & POLITICS - THE CHRISTIAN RIGHT (CC).
Airs Thurs. 9/7/95, 9:00 pm, CBS. TV Guide says that this
show will cover many topics, including "opposing views of
homosexuality through interviews with ministers, including
a Texas preacher who presides over a same-sex union and a
clergyman who disagrees with the lifestyle."

- PHILADELPHIA. Airs Fri. 9/8/95, 6:40 pm, The Movie
Channel. TMC's free preview is still supposed to be going
through this movie. Tom Hanks won a Best Actor Oscar for
his performance as a gay lawyer who is fired after he
develops AIDS and his gayness becomes known. Denzel
Washington costars, and the wonderful gay male singers The
Flirtations make a brief appearance.
