TV Guide says: "Adaptation of David Henry Hwang's Tony- winning play about the deceptive love affair between a French diplomat (Jeremy Irons) and a Chinese opera singer." The opera singer turns out to be a man in drag. Supposed to be based on a true story. >> THIS MORNING (CC). Airs Wed. 8/16/95, 7:00 am, CBS. According to TV Guide, the scheduled guests include Kathy Najimy, who will discuss her role in the upcoming theatrical movie JEFFREY, about a gay man who decides to be celibate because he's afraid of AIDS. >> DOING TIME ON MAPLE DRIVE.
