SEGMENT #1 - "NewsWrap": Pride season continues around the world, with
melees marring marches in Zagreb and Budapest, but peaceful festivities in Mexico
City, Santo Domingo, Cochabamba (Bolivia), Guayaquil (Equador), Panama City,
San Salvador, Santiago, and Bogota; the brutal murders of two lesbians in
Soweto focus more attention on escalating anti-queer violence in South Africa's
Black townships; Australia Attorney General Philip Ruddock rebuffs a letter from
openly gay High Court Justice Michael Kirby requesting spousal pension
benefits for his partner of 38 years, while global shipping giant United Parcel
Service says it cant provide spousal health benefits to its civilly-united union
workers in New Jersey because they aren't legally married; and San Francisco's
Dykes on Bikes win a three-year legal battle to trademark their name (written
by GREG GORDON, with thanks to GRAHAM UNDERHILL and REX WOCKNER with BILL
KELLEY, and reported this week by DON LUPO and GREG GORDON) [10:12] + Billboard

SEGMENT #2 - UGANDAN human rights activist VICTOR JULIET MUKASA is suing her
government for invasion of privacy. Two years ago, her suburban KAMPALA home
was raided by officials searching for incriminating evidence of her
lesbianism. Another woman staying there at the time was arbitrarily arrested and
subjected to humiliating treatment. The Ugandan constitution proclaims equality
for all and discrimination against none, but Mukasa and her KENYAN friend,
Yvonne Oyo, say they’ve suffered persistent police harassment because of their
sexual orientation. JOSHUA KYALIMPA of "Free Speech Radio News" reports from
Kampala. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4:20

SEGMENT #4 "TWO" I.D. by Olympics diving champ GREG LOUGANIS [:088] + A
gorgeous new coffee table book captures the struggle to win the right to marry
in MASSACHUSETTS -- and the reasons that victory meant so much to so many.
This Way Out's JOSY CATOGGIO chats with KAREN KAHN, who co-authored "COURTING
EQUALITY: A DOCUMENTARY HISTORY OF AMERICA'S FIRST LEGAL SAME-SEX MARRIAGES" with
her partner Patricia A. Gozemba and photographer Marilyn Humphries (with
