SEGMENT #1 -  NewsWrap:  A lesbian-marrying Nebraska Methodist minister is
acquitted of violating Church law [includes comments by REV. JIMMY CREECH,
BISHOP JOEL MARTINEZ, and President Clinton`s pastor REV. PHIL WOGAMAN];  a
leading South African Roman Catholic bishop calls for legalizing same-gender
marriage, while anti-same gender marriage measures move in Iowa, Kentucky and
Alaska, but the Australian state of Victoria considers their legal
recognition;  an arbitration ruling instigated by the Canadian Auto Workers
Union forces Chrysler Canada to extend spousal benefits to the domestic
partners of its gay and lesbian employees;  victorious openly- lesbian or -gay
candidates in recent U.S. elections include: Boston`s Liz Malia, who becomes
the first gay or lesbian in 20 years to win election to the Massachusetts
state legislature; Tempe, Arizona Mayor Neil Giuliano, winning a third term,
but his first since coming out; Gary Resnick, winner of an at-large seat on
the Wilton Manors, Florida City Council; and Oregon state Representative
George Eighmey and first-time candidate Barbara Willer, both of whom qualify
for a May runoff election for the Board of Multnomah County;  among the latest
anti-queer actions in the Caribbean, the group Save The Bahamas protests a
visiting cruise ship they mistakenly believe to be a gay charter, while the
leader of the Jamaica Council of Churches protests a pending appearance by the
gay-suggestive 1970`s disco-era Village People;  the British government agrees
to have the House of Commons consider legislation in the next few months to
lower the age of consent for gay men to match the current legal age (16) for
heterosexual and lesbian sexual activity;  the University of Central England
and publisher Random House are each fighting demands by the Birmingham police
and the Crown Prosecution Service to either remove 2 photos likely to "deprave
and corrupt" from a collection by the late openly-gay photog-celeb Robert
Mapplethorpe or have all the books destroyed completely;  and it`s apparently
back to the drawing board for a censoring device called TVGuardian, designed
to replace offensive words in televison programs with less-objectionable
alternates -- it changes the name of the lead actor in the popular 1960`s
sitcom "The Dick Van Dyke Show" to "Jerk Van Gay"  [compiled & written by

SEGMENT #2 -  Billboard for Rotello interview [:10]  + British lesbigays under
25 have formed "YouthSpeak", a new lobby group created to supplement the work
being done by more adult-oriented groups like OutRage! and Stonewall.  TOM
ROBINSON [BBC Radio 5 Live`s "Out This Week"] has comments from members of
Manchester`s lesbian/gay/bisexual youth group, and then talks with
"YouthSpeak" organizer CHRIS MORRIS, the now-18-year-old activist who took the
U.K. government to the EuroCourt over Britain`s unequal age of consent law --
and won.  Morris explains why lesbigay youth need their own group, and their

SEGMENT #3 - "TWO" I.D. by gay singing/comedy duo Romanovsky & Phillips (with
an excerpt from their song "Brave Boys") [:20]  +  If case histories mirroring
what we now know as AIDS date back as far as 1952, why did it take 3 decades
for the disease to reach epidemic proportions?  That`s one of the questions
examined by GABRIEL ROTELLO in his controversial book "Sexual Ecology: AIDS
and The Destiny of Gay Men".  Some activists have accused the columnist and
author of being more dangerous than the disease he analyzes.  In the first of
