SEGMENT #1 -  NewsWrap:  The U.S. Supreme Court issues a unanimous landmark
ruling that sexual harassment in the workplace can be a violation of federal
civil rights law, even when the perpetrator and the victim are both of the
same gender, and regardless of their respective sexual orientations [with
brief comment by Tony Barona of the Human Rights Campaign];  Romania`s
President pardons a lesbian "prisoner of conscience";  despite a general
decrease in serious crime overall, the 4th annual U.S. report on anti-
queer/AIDSphobic bias crime shows an increase in the number of incidents;  the
first man in Australia convicted of knowingly infecting gay sex partners with
HIV gets an 8 year prison sentence;  a New Jersey appellate court says the Boy
Scouts of America can`t discriminate against gay members or leaders [with
comments by victorious Eagle Scout James Dale and BSA spokesperson Greg
Shields];  and film star and producer Jodie Foster is pregnant (but she won`t
say how or name the father), ironically adding to the continuing rumors that

SEGMENT #2 -  Billboard for Aussie phobia in the burbs and "Camp Lavender
Hill" features [:05]  +  Ever since the glare of the global spotlight fell on
the Cayman Islands for refusing 7-hour docking privileges to a cruise ship
filled with gay men, The British Foreign Secretary has been pushing the
Caymans and the U.K`s 4 other overseas territories to repeal their anti-gay
laws, which violate Britain`s international human rights treaty obligations.
Demanding respect for local religious values and asserting they have the right
to maintain such laws, the territories have been firmly resisting, while some
British MP`s say that if these islands want to maintain their link with
Britain they must repeal their conflicting laws.  With comments by Hubert
Hughes, Chief Minister of Anguilla; Truman Bardon, Leader of Government
Business in the Cayman Islands; Baroness Symonds, Foreign Office Minister; and
MP Dr. Jenny Tonge, Lib Dem Spokesperson on International Development, NIGEL

SEGMENT #3 -  Billboard for "Camp Lavender Hill" feature [:05]  +  Violence
against gay men and lesbians has been documented in Australia`s major cities,
but much less is known about homophobic abuse elsewhere in the country.  Wendy
Laigne-Stuart, a Community Welfare student who lives about a 2 hours drive
from Sydney, tells CARLA OMICIUOLO [Australia`s nat`l lesbigay radio program
"Out & Out"] that many gays and lesbians in suburbia remain deeply closeted,
fearing verbal and physical attacks on themselves or their families

SEGMENT #4 -  "TWO" I.D. by prize-winning lesbian writer Dorothy Allison
("Bastard Out Of Carolina") [with unauthorized Jesse Helms endorsement]  [:10]
+  "CAMP LAVENDER HILL" is a half-hour documentary about the first summer camp
for children of gay, lesbian, or bisexual parents, featuring only the campers
themselves with no voice-over narration.  It`s screened at several gay and
lesbian film festivals, including San Francisco, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and
Portland, and has been a labor of love for producers Tom Shepard and Michael
Magnaye.  They`re self-distributing the documentary and hope it will be seen
far and wide by other kids, and groups and individuals who work with youth.
Following their lead, "This Way Out" provides a preview using only the
comments of Shepard and Magnaye and excerpts from their film (including music)
