SEGMENT #2 -  Billboard for homophobia and bookstore features [:10]  + 
San Francisco`s pioneering ordinance that requires companies contracting with
the city to offer its lesbian and gay workers domestic partner benefits equal
to those given to married employees faced its first legal challenge October
10th in a U.S. district court.  The Air Transport Association is literally
making a federal case out of it, arguing that it's impractical to allow
individual municipalities to enact laws regulating an international industry,
while the city insists that it has the right to condition the use of its

"Afrekete: An Anthology of Black Lesbian Writing" (with Jesse Helms tag)

something directed at queers by hateful and ignorant heterosexuals, it
pervades the minds and hearts of gays and lesbians, too.  Internalized
homophobia manifests itself in many forms, including denial, self-pity and
self-hatred, and all too often it`s directed by gay men at lesbians and by
lesbians against gay men.  Correspondent CARLA OMICIUOLO [from Australia`s
national lesbigay radio program "Out & Out"] discusses new ways of defining
and measuring internalized homophobia with researcher Kenton Miller  (intro
