 Zimbabwe's first post-colonial president Canaan Banana is formally charged
with 11 counts of sodomy, attempted sodomy and indecent assault;
 applications are finally distributed in Hawai'i for couples to register as
"reciprocal beneficiaries", the first statewide registry of unmarried
partners in the U.S.;  Ontario's provincial Human Rights Commission calls for
the immediate amendment of more than 60 laws it says discriminate against
same-gender couples;  anti-queer censorship strikes in Singapore, Indonesia
and France;  U.S. actor Danny Pintauro (Jonathan Bower on the now defunct
Tony Danza/Judith Light TV sitcom "Who's The Boss") comes out to the
"National Enquirer", which GLAADens lesbigay media activists;  and in a
confrontation with Christian demonstrators in the Australian state of
Queensland, lesbigay activists show that sodomy is "in"  [complied and

SEGMENT #3 -  "TWO" I.D. by "male actress" Charles Pierce as Katherine
Hepburn [:15]  +  TOM ROBINSON, the original angry gay man of British rock,
recently hosted an award-winning radio history of lesbian and gay music --
going back more than a generation before his seminal protest song of the '70s
"Glad To Be Gay".  Tom, and the show's producer Matthew Linfoot, have
re-recorded and re-edited "YOU'VE GOT TO HIDE YOUR LOVE AWAY" into a special
5-part version for "This Way Out".  In Part 2 this week, we hear how
gender-crossing in the blues crossed musical genres in the 1930's (intro
music from "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" by THE BEATLES; featured
songs: "The King's A Queen At Heart" by JUDD REES; "Uncle Bill Has Much
