Tory seat in Scotland";  in Kenya, an unnamed former cabinet minister's wife
is rumored to have arranged paid sex between teenage girls and wealthy older
women;  a feminist Kuwaiti professor is fired for allegedly suggesting that
lesbians exist in her country;  poet Allen Ginsberg and political activist
Marvin Liebman have died;  gay Australian students are taking legal action to
stop school bashings;  Argentina's 2nd national queer conference is a
positive experience despite local resistance in the host city of Salta;  the
U.S. Supreme Court refuses to hear an Orthodox Presbyterian minister's
challenge to New Jersey's lesbigay anti-discrimination protections;  The
Union of Orthodox Rabbis of the United States & Canada issues a strong
denunciation of other branches of Judaism for, among other things, having
progressive policies towards gays and lesbians;  a recent newspaper survey
indicates that a majority of Danes support church weddings for same-gender
couples;  and a Honolulu political cartoonist suggests a "divorce" for
Hawai'i lawmakers because they've been unable to resolve differences in bills
