The two European Courts have consistently taken a more liberal stance on gay discrimination cases in the past, and the recent ruling in Luxembourg in favour of the dismissed transsexual 'P' paves the way for the outlawing of discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation throughout the Union. But what might be good for gays might also be the straw which breaks the Eurosceptic camel's back.
