According to the Reuters news service, Time Warner, the multimedia giant, 
announced on Monday, January 25, 1994 that it was exploring the creation 
of a new magazine to be aimed at gay readers.  [The story did not 
indicate if "gay" included lesbian and bi people.]   A spokesperson said, 
"We're exploring the idea and concept at this point.  It's at a very 
preliminary stage.  A lot of work needs to be done."

I'd suggest that this might be a good time for writers, editors, and 
other publishing people to begin contacting them so they know there is a 
wealth of publishing skill out there.

Notice that Time Warner didn't announce the creation of a magazine for 
Jesus creeps, Limbaugh fans, or Pat Robertson disciples.
