Quoting from a direct mail piece GLAAD/SFBA received:
"In 1992 the first volume of the long-awaited Gay/Lesbian Periodicals Index
will be published.  For the first time, it will be possible to locate--in a
single source--references to thousands of articles on every aspect of
gay life...The G/L Periodicals Index is the key to the contents of some 30
leading gay and lesbian publications, including The Advocate, The Bay Area
Reporter, Gay Community News, and the Washington Blade.  The index will
fill a gap in libraries nationwide and will do much to encourage them to
collect gay and lesbian materials."
I say we all should help these folks by prevailing upon our local libraries
