stories of women who've defied convention and come out as lesbians in a 
hostile world are now expanded an accompanied with a new introduction. 
Collected are letters, poems, and essays of several women of their 
unique coming out experiences during four decades of lesbian live and 
loving.

COMING OUT: AN ACT OF LOVE; Eichberg, Rob; Plume; $12.95; By one of 
the creators of the "Experience" workshops, his is a guide to affirming 
gay and lesbian identity from the first private choice to a loving 
public self-acceptance.

ON BEING GAY: THOUGHTS ON FAMILY, FAITH, AND LOVE; McNaught, Brian; 
St. Martins; $9.95; An insightful and sometimes humorous look at what 
it means to be gay men and women. In these essays, McNaught addresses 
such issues as whether or not to come out, maintaining relations with 
families, with lovers, with God, and more.
