They find their lives transformed when a herd of unicorns is discovered on their ranch. THE BREEDS OF MAN by F. M. Bushy. AIDS is cured, but the genetic tampering required for the cure results in a new, sexually androgynous kind human being. SHARRA'S EXILE by Marion Zimmer Bradley. Many characters' stories are told in the Neveryon books. A central figure in most of them is an ex-slave who leads a successful rebellion. Delany uses these stories to offer brilliant (sometimes long-winded) monologues about historical philosophy, the development of capitalism and patriarchy, sadomasochism, and AIDS.
