The first case we were involved in was appealed directly to the OK Supreme
ourt after the district court gave the children to the father. They have
just refused to hear it and sent it to the Court of Appeals.  The other case
is just now preparing to appeal.  In both cases, the biological mother lost
custody to the biological father solely on the basis of their lesbianism.
 Not suprisingly the fathers are fundamentalist.  We are hoping to get these
children back with their families where they belong _and_ set a legal
precedent which will lower thethreat to lesbian/gay parents in Oklahoma.
