Subject: Gay Men of Color to Meet in Miami

Hello Friends,

The National Task Force on AIDS Prevention will host their annual Gay Men of
Color AIDS Insitute in Miami Beach, Florida over Labor Day Weekend August
30-September 2, 1996.  There will be workshops and plenary sessions that
focus on HIV prevention for Native, Latino, Asian-Pacific Islander and
African American gay and bi-sexual men.  This years Insitute promises to be
one of our finest ever.

The weekend events start on Friday, August 30 with a Pre-Insitute conference
for youth on HIV prevention for young gay men.  The Insitute's sessions will
include HIV prevention strategies, organizational development, linking
research and evaulation with programs, collaboration and coalitions and
finally a special track devoted to building a healther community entitled Buil
ding Self/Building Community.

But that's not all -- we will be joined by Tony Award winning director ,
George C. Wolfe as well as other special guest.  We will have a screening of
several films including-"All God's Children" and "Black Nations/Queer
Nations".
