Conference (begin forwarded message, forwarded with permission) I saw your post for the GLSTN events, and thought you should be aware of a conference that people in GLSTN may be interested in attending. It's sponsored by the National Association for Multicultural Education and will be in Washington D.C. February 15-19, 1995. The conference promises to feature presentations/discussions about queer issues within multicultural education. For more info, contact Jill Moss Greenberg or Peggy LaRocca, Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, 5454 Wisconsin Ave., Suite 1500, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. The phone numbers are (301) 657-7746; Fax (301) 657-8782. I attended the conference last year and found it to be a great resource for ideas and information, and they did not shy away from queer issues at all. Just thought you'd like to know.
