I would like to inform everyone, esp. from europe, about the EUROGAMES III Frankfurt/Main eagerly anticipates the arrival of approx. 1,500 Gay and Lesbian athletes throughout Europe on Easter 1995. On behalf of EGLSF the women of Artemis Sport Frankfurt have joint forces with the men of Frankfurter Volleyball Verein to host the 3rd EuroGames, to be held April 14-17th, 1995 in "Mainhattan". Planning is well under way for this major European sports event which will see the - yet inofficial - determination of European Champions in 10 disciplines, as there are: Badminton Handball Ballroom dancing Soccer Basketball Swimming Bowling Table Tennis Chess Volleyball The organizers strongly encourage individual players to register for team sports, in case they cannot join existing teams. For the tournament those players will be assigned to teams by draw or new teams will be formed from the pool of individual players. In the registration fee of DM 80,00 will be all sports/related fees, a welcome snack, THE EuroGames Party, a Farewell Brunch, hosted housing for 4 nights and reduced tickets for cultural events. More than 600 athletes have already registered and those of you who still THINK about doing so should decide quickly: Deadline for registration is February 15, 1995! In addition to the sporting event Frankfurt will offer an interesting and diverse cultural program to the EurGames participants and spectators.
