Intensive sessions on Fighting The Right, Youth Organizing, and HIV/AIDS will be combined with speeches by: Mel White - author of "Stranger at the Gate" and Dean of the Cathedral of Hope MCC, the largest gay and lesbian church in the world. Letitia Gomez - Executive Director of the National Latino/a Lesbian and Gay Organization (LLEGO). Currently she serves on the D.C. Civilian Comlaint Review Boards, and in 1993, running as an out lesbian, she was elected to the board of the D.C. Latino Civil Rights Task Force. Rep. Glen Maxey - The first opnely gay elected official in the State of Texas. Founding Member of AIDS Services of Austin and founder of the Texas AIDS Network. Phill Wilson - Director of Public Policy at AIDS Project Los Angeles. Former AIDS Coordinator for City of LA. Founder of the Black Gay & Lesbian Leadership Forum and co-founder of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
