GLAD (Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders), Lesbian Gay Bisexual
Caucus at Northeastern University School of Law, Mass Lesbian and Gay
Bar Association, and National Lesbian and Gay Law Association are
co-sponsoring The Northeast Conference of Lesbian and Gay Legal Issues
to be held at Northeastern University School of Law on November 5-6,
1993.
This will be a one and half day conference on gay and lesbian legal
issues including, Family Law, Criminal Law, AIDS-HIV law, Civil Rights,
and Legal Profession issues.
Speakers will include Roberta Achtenberg, Tim Bennett, Mary Bonauto,
Brenda Buchanan, Susie Colt, Miles Frieden, Bill Garza, Hon. Lida Giles,
Stewart Landers, Sandra Lundy, Hon. Bertha Josephson, Hon. Dermot
Meagher, Patricia Peard, Jan Platner, Prof. Flavio Risech, Katherine
Triantafillou, Maria Cristina Vlassidis, John Ward, Prof. Robert Wasson,
and Heather Wishik.
The conference is not limited to lawyers and law students.  Fees will be
charged on a sliding scale from $20 to $100.
