Any responses to the list or list-owners will be returned to you. ] There is a profoundly antisemitic neo-Nazi FTP site on Netcom. I'm not very familiar with these groups, but I think this one may be of the "Christian Identity Movement" variety. The location is /ftp/pub/SFA, and the owner is Rick Savage (rsavage@netcom.com). Just browse through a few of the files, searching for the string "Jew", and you'll see what it's about. There is also anti-gay and anti-Black material in there. Recurring hate-crimes--vandalism, arson, assault, and murder-- against Jews, gays, blacks, abortion providers, and other targets of the ultra-far right, are inspired and motivated by material like this. In order to avoid contributing to such attacks, and to avoid the subsequent enormous financial liability (in case a perpetrator is found to have been motivated by hate literature downloaded from here) I think that Netcom should not permit this material to be made available from its system. The harm done by this kind of stuff far exceeds the harm done by spamming, mailbombing or attempted hacking, any of which are grounds for instant expulsion.
