We are in the process of organizing lesbians, gay men and bisexuals for the struggle to gain Domestic Partner Benefits. It has begun at College park. Some recommendations are at the Regents level. Welcome To UMS-LGB Listserv This list serves the employees of the University Of Maryland System who are interested in Lesbian, Gay or Bisexual Human Relations Issues/Topics in the work place. The discussion will focus solely on topics of interest to lesbians, gay men or bisexual people as employees of the UM System Community. Examples of such topics are the set of Domestic Partner Recommendations from the UMCP Senate and their implementation, State of Maryland Civil Rights Bill, Organizing Lesbian/Gay Associations at the work place, Lesbian and Gay Studies or other work place topics that focus on lesbians, gay men or bisexuals. The list will function as a means of connecting people within the system and discussing topics of mutual interest. In addition, information updates will be handled through the list.
