Internet Newbies and old timers will be happy to hear, and see, there is
now a Queer friendly way to cruise the Internet.

GLAIDS Net BBS is a Queer Internet BBS that operates out of Seattle.
GLAIDS provides a easy to use interfaces to many LGBT and AIDS topics on the
Internet. The service combines the BBS interactivness of Chat, BBS mail as
well as BBS message posting.  Currently GLAIDS offers Lynx WWW client
connections to the Queer Internet and more.  Lynx is a easy to use and
view the global Internet via the World Wide Web system.

The purpose behind GLAIDS
Provide both the Internet novice and the more experienced Internet
explorers a one stop click and go approach to Queer/AIDS resources around
the world.  Many people are Internet phobic due to the user unfriendliness of
the UNIX etc.  GLAIDS smooths out the rough edges of most Internet
services. If a user can use arrow keys or the Emac key bindings or the
number pad they can find most the information they need via GLAIDS.

Past, Present, and Future
GLAID Net has experienced some hard times recently. Most of the system
was destroyed. Currently the entire GLAIDS BBS etc is being reconstructed.
So check GLAIDS out and be a part of its its growth.

To connect
GLAIDS can be accessed by telnet if you have it. If you don't you can get
by using either HOLONET or PSI World-Dial services. The address to
